Nardwuar Vs. Young MC

Another One of them Nardwaur Vids!

Young MC busts a nice freestyle...He is one of my favorite artists from the old school dayz..

Young MC is best known for his 1989 hit "Bust A Move" From his debut album "Stone Cold Rhymin".

Out of his 7 albums I have only been able to find "Brainstorm"...I recommend to anyone who is into old school hip hop to go out and get one of his albums and take a listen...You most likely won't be dissapointed, or I wasn't with my purchase of his '91 release, Brainstorm.

DMC working on the new ablum

DMC of the legendary group Run DMC is finishing up his new album "The Origins of Block Music" which will feature guests such as DJ Premier on the beats & Bumpy Knuckles and Chuck D of Public Enemy.

Look out for that album to hit stores sometime in June '09...

If you didn't catch the Rock N Roll hall of fame last night Run DMC was inducted into the hall by Eminem...He gave a great speach about the legendary group who brought Hip Hop and Rock together. Just 2 turntables and a M-I-C...

Run DMC spoke but did not perform because ever since the untimely loss of the late great Jam Master Jay they haven't performed without their DJ....Jay's mother, brother, wife and 3 kids were there to accept the award on his behalf...

Jam Master Jay was one of the first to show the world that without the DJ there really isn't no rapper or good performance...He also cared more about the people around him then worry'n about himself...R.I.P. Jam Master Jay

His legacy should never be forgotten...The best DJ to rock it

Cam' Ron to Release 2 Self Made Movies...

Cam' Ron has confirmed plans to release two upcoming films by the end of the year called The Bakery and Killa Season 2.

"The Bakery" features Cam's man Bang, Cam said in a recent interview. "It's just basically about trafficking drugs from state to state.

"Killa Season 2" is coming out this fall. Cam' Ron says, "we shot a couple scenes but I haven't really been working on it. I have a date to shoot in June, from June 5 to June 25 I believe. Then it'll take me about two weeks to edit so it'll be on point. I've shot about two or three scenes that I'm gonna keep for that. I did Killa Season 1 like that, I direct, produce, starred in, edited, I did everything...I'd rather write my own movie and act in my own stuff."

Can't wait for Cam to bust everyone in their ass this year after all the talk of his career over and everyone asking where is Cam???...Well He's Back...NO HOMO

Busta Rhymes Talks Technology...

This is how wild and crazy Busta gets sometimes....Maybe a lil bit over reacting, but really what he's saying is true...

Guru - New Album

Guru of the legendary Gangstarr is working on a summer release of "8.0 Lost And Found".

This album will be the follow-up to 2007’s "Version 7.0: The Street Scriptures".

If you've been following Guru after his split with Premier about 5 or so years ago then you've heard Version 7.0 and you will be waiting for the JUNE release of the new album...

And don't sleep on Premiers replacement Solar...Although he is no PREMO he still has Guru making original hip hop...No matter who Guru would have as a producer he would still have many fans and many dope albums...

Be on the look out for that new GURU album this summer...

Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth Them Underground Basement Jams!!!

Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth have some left over tracks from their golden era...

Recordings from the EP, "All Souled Out", second release to the debut album, "Mecca & The Soul Brother", have been dug up and put together on a new five track EP.

The limited EP, which will release only 200 copies, is titled "Basement Demos". The price for this rare 80's hip hop history is not cheap either, as the collector’s item will set you back $80.00.

The track list is:

SIDE A:
01. "The Midnight Wrecka"
02. "Cool and Calm"

SIDE B:
01. "Go C.L."
02. "Down To Move Ya Body"
03. "Go With The Flow [Alternate Mix]"

Damn in this recession those prices are for those who are really big hip hop fans...if your lucky to get a copy of this release, do not put that shit out on the internet...keep that shit to yourself....Thats what I'm gonna do....

Premo in the works on producing MC Eiht & KRS-One Full Albums

DJ Premier the great producer in Hip Hop over the last 20 years is in talks of doing full album productions with rappers MC Eiht of Comptons Most Wanted. Also KRS-One & Premo are in the works on an album together stating the name of the album will be "Return Of The Boom Bips" .

Can't wait for both of these albums to come out and I hope they don't abandon these projects. MC Eiht and KRS-One are both great artists and are not givin the respect that they deserve for the amount of work they have put into hip hop.

Now this will be REAL HIP HOP...Thank you PREMO
