DMC of the legendary group Run DMC is finishing up his new album "The Origins of Block Music" which will feature guests such as DJ Premier on the beats & Bumpy Knuckles and Chuck D of Public Enemy.Look out for that album to hit stores sometime in June '09...

Run DMC spoke but did not perform because ever since the untimely loss of the late great Jam Master Jay they haven't performed without their DJ....Jay's mother, brother, wife and 3 kids were there to accept the award on his behalf...
Jam Master Jay was one of the first to show the world that without the DJ there really isn't no rapper or good performance...He also cared more about the people around him then worry'n about himself...R.I.P. Jam Master Jay
His legacy should never be forgotten...The best DJ to rock it
