Rhymesayers footage from Haiti concert @ First Ave in Minneapolis...Shit was jam packed and they were saying 30,000 + money was raised for the people of Haiti. Freeway got stuck at the airport and was unable to make it, but all in all it was a good concert for a GREAT cause...

A Benefit For Haiti

As all of you know by now the people of Haiti need your help and prayers. The aftermath of one of the biggest tragedies of our lifetime has left most of their country in pieces and most people are without water, food, or shelter!!!...It is in times like this that we all need to think about what we have and be thoughtful of those who are in need and not so fortunate as US!

Rhymesayers Entertainment/Minneapolis,MN has come together to host a benefit for Haiti concert on February 9th, 2010 @ First Avenue in Minneapolis....There is a $20 entree fee and all of the proceeds will go to organizations that already have been doing all that they can to help out as many victims of the earthquake as possible...

What more could you ask for, you will be donating to help those who desperately need it and seeing some of the best at what they do come together for a concert not to benefit themselves, but those who are in NEED.

So if you happen to be in Minnesota or are from here I suggest you cop your tickets now and help to better the lives of those in HAITI!!!

I know I will....hope to see some of you there

M.anifest performing a dope song "Babylon Breakdown"...He said he's originally from Ghana, Africa...Never heard any of his music before his performance, but after listening to his set I went & bought a copy of his cd "Manifestations"...I recommend anyone who is into hip hop or world music check him out...
Muja Messiah came out with some energy and got the crowd into it...

Until this concert I have never heard St. Paul slim rap...But he came out hyped and got the crowd into it & showed me love with a hand shake...My Bro & I got there an hour and a half early & waited in the mist/rain but this concert was well worth it...At one point St. Paul Slim bent down in front of me and did his rap and I was like oooohhh...He killed it...Toki Wright has talent & is going to do well with his first debut coming June '09...Toki & Slim got the crowd hyped & from there it was history...
