As all of you know by now the people of Haiti need your help and prayers. The aftermath of one of the biggest tragedies of our lifetime has left most of their country in pieces and most people are without water, food, or shelter!!!...It is in times like this that we all need to think about what we have and be thoughtful of those who are in need and not so fortunate as US!

Rhymesayers Entertainment/Minneapolis,MN has come together to host a benefit for Haiti concert on February 9th, 2010 @ First Avenue in Minneapolis....There is a $20 entree fee and all of the proceeds will go to organizations that already have been doing all that they can to help out as many victims of the earthquake as possible...

What more could you ask for, you will be donating to help those who desperately need it and seeing some of the best at what they do come together for a concert not to benefit themselves, but those who are in NEED.

So if you happen to be in Minnesota or are from here I suggest you cop your tickets now and help to better the lives of those in HAITI!!!

I know I will....hope to see some of you there

Gilbert Arenas is in a bit of trouble after the alleged gun stunt in the wizards locker room. He most likely will not be back in the NBA anytime soon and probably never with the Washington Wizards again. The last basketball game that I went to was my Minnesota Timberwolves Vs. Washington Wizards so that was my last chance to see Agent 0 do his thing and of course he did, but the wolves still got the W!...No one ever wishes these sort of troubles onto someone or at least I don't, so hopefully Arenas will get his act together, do what hes gotta do and come back to the NBA better than ever.....

It's been a couple of years now that my brother & I have been into collecting vinyl. Probably ever since my bro got some tables and an MPC 1000. We dig more for jazz,blues and funk records right now, we've got plenty of rock already....We still really don't know much about what record companies to look for or what years to buy, but we have a general idea of what were looking for to chop up and make some of them funky beats with....

If you have any suggestions as to what to look for or what you like to do when looking through vinyl's leave me a comment....

First T-Wolves game of the season for me, I know they aren't doing so hot, but I got free tickets. It was a slow low scoring game, so I got a bunch of photos and some video...I was lucky to see a win though which these days is hard to come by for the Wolves. They will be lucky to get 15 wins this season. It was still a fun event and my pops and I had a fun time downtown and all....

I'm hopeful that within the next couple of years with the young talent of Al Jefferson, Kevin Love, Jonny Flynn & Wayne Ellington who should be out on the court more, and a couple good draft picks that the Timberwolves will be able to at least compete within their division....(Wishful thinking I Know)

Christmas hat and all, after I came in from trying to clear the slick, heavy, wet, snow, slush from my driveway...Whoooftaaa

This is the big snowfall most of the Midwest and some southern states have been getting over the last couple of days....It started to fall Wednesday night and is still coming down as I'm writing this Christmas day....Suppose to snow all day through the night and finally be done pouring down on us by Saturday! If I can remember back its been a while since we had snow for days in a row and consisting of wet, sloppy, slush....I use to love snow, but that was back when I was young and would get my play on all day every day no matter how cold it was outside. I'm really contemplating moving to another Warmer state, maybe Arizona cuz I love it down there....

There are two brief guest appearances by MED and J Dilla.

If you didn't know Madlib (a producer from California) did an album with J Dilla (late great producer from Detroit) called "Champion Sound"

Half of the songs are produced by Madlib and feature J Dilla on vocals, and the other half are produced by J Dilla and feature Madlib on vocals. This album was the first of the Madlib duo collaboration albums made during the 2000s.

In my opinion this KRS-One & Buckshot album "Survival Skills" (released on september 15th 09) is one of the best albums not only in '09 but in the last couple of years.

Didn't even know they made a video for this song, which is one of my favorites off the album...

Runnin' Away is a sick joint...Buck, KRS & Immortal Technique on a Black Milk track. They all killed their verses on this 1...

Have you ever been somewhere and thought why am I not listening to music?

Well over the last couple days I've had that thought cross my mind. My car battery died because of the fierce Minnesota winta cold and when that happened my Mitsubishi cd player locked up. They do this for theft protection(Supposedly-who steals stock cd players?), but really it is just a hassle for anyone if your battery dies. So I had to call around and tried giving the dealer my car vin # but that didn't work, then I took the dash apart and took out the deck and called a dealership with the cd player serial #...I got 2 codes to type into the radio but now I have to wait 45min-Hour with the key half on so the car deck can Unlock so I can put these codes into it.

Now tell me if you think I'm crazy, but damn all this BS just to get some tunes back in my whip while I cruise...They really need to come up with a better system for cd player theft.

One of the best (Pulp Fiction) Tarantino movies so far....Inglorious Basterds is now out.

A lot of people were saying it's not what they were expecting, while others are saying it's one of the best movies in a min. I thought it was the best movie of '09 myself....

You really can't go wrong with a movie involving Quentin Tarantino, no matter which one you watch. Unless your not a fan of his directing/producing.

There are a ton of antique shops downtown dells, this was the only one open because the seasons are changing and no one comes to the dells towards fall & in the winter.....If the others would have been open we could have spent 1 or 2 full days digging through the crates.

So I was gone the last week in Wisconsin Dells...Hench no posts in a min

Went out and about got some photos to show ya'll...If you haven't been to WI or don't plan on going there your not missing much, it's fields, cattle, fields, horses, farms and more fields...Oh and the Dells with water parks and lots of little shops to buy gifts and what not...I would recommend checking out Milwaukee and Madison those are the bigger more city like cities in WI where there is more of a younger crowd to be around....Not soo country
